The mission of the Alliance for Child Mental Health is to improve the lives of children and families by increasing awareness, collaboration and coordination across child mental health agencies and among providers. This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and research purposes.
The purposes for which the Alliance is organized are:
To improve the lives of children and their families.
To create awareness of child mental health needs across child mental health agencies
To create awareness of child mental health needs among private mental health providers
To collaborate with child mental health providers, academic institutions, researchers and governments to develop a system of child mental health services .
To coordinate services of child mental health treatment across and among agencies, governments and private providers.
To provide and promote educational opportunities to child mental health service providers .
To participate in and/or initiate research on developing a child mental health system.
To collaborate with child mental health agencies, providers, academic institutions and researchers in the development of public policy regarding a system of child mental health treatment.
